Omi Kohoan Temple
The gardens at Omi Kohoan Temple are a Shiga prefectural designated place of Scenic Beauty. The tasteful, effective design makes perfect use of the natural terrain, and the gardens are said to be based on the Eight Views of Omi. Visitors come in particular during the spring for the azaleas, for the fresh verdure in May, and for the crimson leaves in the fall.
