Kashiwabara-juku
Kashiwabara-juku is a large-scale post town located along the Nakasendo Road as a main road connecting Edo (former name of Tokyo) to Kyoto, where the all-night lights that have served as streetlights from old times and old Japanese-style houses stand.
Kashiwabara-juku is famous for Ibuki Moxa which is used to relieve the weariness of a journey. In the past, there were many shops dealing in moxa standing along the road, but now only one shop remains.
