Chikubu Island (Japan Heritage)
Chikubu Island is one of the eight picturesque sights of Lake Biwa. It has also appeared in The Tale of the Heike's Chikubushimamoude and the noh song Chikubushima as an island hiding a mysterious beauty. The island's appearance has continued to enchant people for over 1,000 years to this day.
