This roadside station has an abundant range of marine products (e.g. Biwa trout and sweetfish) and duck meat taken from Lake Biwa and fresh agricultural produce and special products characteristic of the region in addition to serving as an information center. You will also find many delicious foods here, including the grilled mackerel sushi and gopan (rice bread) that are the pride of the establishment.
